Kanji List

The mnemonics are mostly inspired by those in Heisig's Remembering the Kanji. They are usually little stories (that sometimes make little sense) designed to create a vivid image to aid in associating a sense to each kanji. The stronger mnemonics use the actual radicals of the kanji, but as we won't see all of them, some weaker mnemonics resort to simply using the appearance of the kanji.

Onyomi and Kunyomi readings are taken directly from Nakama. Weirdly enough, there seems to be some inconsistencies between the book and other resources.

The stroke order animations are taken from The Yamasa Institute's Online Kanji Dictionary, but have been optimized for faster loading.

1山 Mountain¶
